Sergey Popov is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in project delivery in the Mining & Metals industry. He has managed projects with a total value over 7 billion USD and has international exposure, having lived and worked in countries such as the USA, France, Guinea, China, and Kazakhstan.

Popov is an enthusiast of Innovation & Technologies and has invested in and advised a number of start-ups. He is the Head of Project Management Mining Division at EuroChem, and he has founded and served as CFO of Chum-Bucket Reuse & Recycle. In addition, Popov has worked in roles such as Advisor at ICBConnect Global B2B Sales Accelerator, Sukhoi LOG Project Director at POLYUS, Project Manager at Norilsk Nickel, and Surveyor at GPR-1, among others.

Popov is also the former Project manager (Acting CEO) at DALA Mining, the former Project Manager at Kazakhmys PLC, the former Head of Project Controls at UC Rusal, and the former Project manager at COPLAN VOSTOK.
