Brea Baker is a highly accomplished writer and activist with a diverse background in politics, entertainment, and tech. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Yale University and has studied in Paris, at the University of Sydney, and at the School for International Training. Over the past decade, Brea has contributed to numerous electoral and advocacy campaigns, including the Women's March, the campaign to #FreeMeekMill, and the 2018 student walkouts against gun violence. She has also worked as a director of strategy at A/B Partners and as a social impact advisor and co-chair of TJI at Inspire Justice. Brea is recognized for her work in coalition with other activists and organizers, earning her a place in the 2017 Glamour Women of the Year (Women's March) and 2019 i-D Up and Rising. She has spoken on her activism and work at prestigious platforms such as Yale University, the United Nations' Girl Up, and ABC's The View, and has contributed to top publications such as Elle Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, and Refinery29. Brea is also an active member of Justice League NYC, and the Grassroots & Community Liaison for Justice For Black Girls. Her work connects influencers and industry leaders to activism in sustainable ways and places emphasis on progressive policy and a culture that reflects and affirms everyone's right to thrive.
