T. Ahlstrom

T. Robinson Ahlstrom is an education expert and leader in the field, with experience in teaching, school administration, and civic leadership. He is currently the Chairman and CEO of The George Washington Scholars Endowment, an organization that advocates for the human and civil rights of children. Ahlstrom has also designed and established several innovative schools, including the Bronx Latin public school, which has been praised by New York City mayor Bill de Blasio as "the future of NYC public schools." He is also the Founder and Head Master Emeritus of Washington Latin Public Charter School, which is consistently ranked as one of the highest-performing public charter schools in the country.

Ahlstrom is an ordained Congregational Minister and has degrees from Trinity International University, Andover Newton Theological School, Columbia University, and Harvard University. He has also served as a trustee for The American Academy for Liberal Education and has written numerous essays on education and culture that have been published in leading journals and newspapers.

In his current role at The George Washington Scholars Endowment, Ahlstrom is leading a team of civic leaders in establishing The Lathrup School, furthering his commitment to creating innovative and high-performing educational institutions. With his extensive experience and leadership skills, Ahlstrom is a recognized expert in education and a powerful advocate for children's rights.
