Kelly Caton is a seasoned communications leader with over 15 years of experience in spearheading media and award campaigns for streaming and broadcast programming. She has an impressive track record in developing and executing market-leading strategies and building effective teams that promote optimal media and voter awareness. Her expertise in awards strategy & publicity is unparalleled, leading Netflix's Portfolio of original series to record-breaking numbers of Emmy® nominations and wins. In addition, Kelly is an Emmy-winning producer of impactful extension programming.
Kelly also has a wealth of experience in media/PR strategy, having managed successful consumer and trade media campaigns for a vast portfolio of premiere networks, including Netflix, HBO, and BBC AMERICA. During her career, she has managed global and domestic campaigns for critically acclaimed series, including Orphan Black, Luther, Doctor Who, and The Wire, among many others.
Kelly is also an expert in events/partnerships management, having managed premieres, partnered events, influencer screenings, and B2B/C events, including TCA and Comic-Con. Currently, she manages the innovative content strategy and execution of Netflix FYSEE, the largest awards exhibition, and its brand extensions, as well as all Guild events.
Kelly holds a degree in Public Relations from Baruch College and a Bachelor's in Law from John Jay College. She currently serves as the Director of Series Awards Strategy and Publicity at Netflix, and previously held leadership positions at AMC Networks, WE tv, Fuse Television, and HBO.
