Sr Reliability and Quality Engineer

Lead contact between the contract manufacturer in China and the company for all our air motion controlled devices.  I design and implement efficient process flows for the production line and use Labview to develop functional test stations to ensure a level of manufacturing quality is achieved before completing the final assembly of our products to ensure manufacturing time is not wasted and/or used inefficiently.  I also develop test programs for the design engineers in order to shorten the development time of the products.At Gyration, I was also able to apply my experience in quality assurance and customer experience to improve the quality and detect any potential issues before bringing the product to market.  My feedback was always considered and factored into the development of the next generation products.  In addition to my manufacturing duties, I am also the document control administrator for all the Gyration branded products.  I handled all the releases of BOMs, ECOs, approval processes and ensure the proper documentation is filed in our Arena system.During my time here at Gyration, I also developed the companies first "green universal" packaging and the same design is currently being used in multiple SKUs.

At Dash, I was a key contact in defining, implementing and planning the manufacturing process at the contract manufacturer.  I would also coordinate the work activities required at the distribution centers for reworking manufactured goods in accordance to quality, cost and quantity.In addition to supporting the manufacturing line, I would oversee the High Accellerated Life Testing done as well as develop an On-going Reliability Test plan to maintain the quality during manufacturing.Monitoring the top RMA issues out in the field was another item that I was in charge of.  I would evaluate the top RMA issues and implement changes necessary to reduce the number of returns.

Manufacturing Support Engineer

At Logitech, I was assigned projects to test and qualify based on given specification requirements (USB, Sony, XBox, Nintendo Wii).  During my time at Logitech, I defined and improved the process for the QA department as well as perform environmental tests such as ESD, EFT/B and EMI in accordance to the environmental standards.  I gained extensive experience in the consumer electronics area.

As a Test Engineer, I would design the framework and assemble the parametric test stations for the manufacturing sites as well as troubleshoot the problems with the existing testers at offsite locations.  When required, I would also rewire test fixtures based on given schematics.
