Marco Loos

Marco Loos is a highly-educated individual with a diverse background in law and academia.

He completed his middelbare school at S.G. Werenfridus and basisschool at St. Jozefschool, Spierdijk, before pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a focus on Private law, Administrative law, and Labour law at the prestigious University of Amsterdam.

Throughout his career, Marco has been actively involved in various organizations such as Stichting toetsing verzekeraars, Huurcommissie, Consumentenbond, International Association of Consumer Law, University of Amsterdam, Ius Commune Research School, and Study Group on a European Civil Code.

His significant roles include serving as a Professor of private law, particularly specializing in European consumer law at the University of Amsterdam, as well as holding positions like Lid bestuur, Lid raad van advies, Member Board of Governors, and Board Member.

Previously, Marco Loos also contributed to academia as a universitair docent en postdoc at Katholieke Universiteit Brabant, now known as Tilburg University.
