Shira Muroff is an experienced educator and assistant director of education at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. Shira holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Development, with a minor in education and history from the University of California, Davis. In addition, Shira has held various positions in educational programming in different organizations, such as the Jewish Women's Archive and the Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life. Moreover, Shira has a strong background in teaching and has taught Sunday school at Congregation Bet Haverim and interned at the Davis Joint Unified School District.
