Gerry Lacey is an accomplished technology leader with a diverse background in academia and industry. He holds an Executive MBA degree from the University College Dublin, a Ph.D. in Robotics, and a BA in Computer Engineering completed at Trinity College Dublin. As an associate professor of computer science at Trinity College Dublin, Gerry has focused his research efforts on human-machine collaboration using augmented reality, machine learning and robotics. He has also founded and grown two technology start-ups that have successfully brought innovative solutions to market by transferring deep IP from the lab. Additionally, he has held various leadership positions in his academic and industry career, including a Bursar & Director of Strategic Innovation, CTO, CEO and Board Member.
