Sakib Dadi
Sakib Dadi is a seasoned venture capitalist, investor, and former engineer with a background in materials science and economics. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering and Economics with a Concentration in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He also holds a Master of Science in Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dadi is currently the Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners, a prestigious venture fund, where he evaluates early and growth-stage investment opportunities. Prior to joining Bessemer, he served as an investor and board observer at several companies, including Syndio, Tribe Community Platform, Coder, LaunchDarkly, Okera, Pinpoint, Piazza, and npm, Inc.
Before making his transition to venture capital, Dadi was a product manager at viagogo and worked in tech investment banking at Morgan Stanley. He also worked as a materials engineer at Innova Dynamics and as a systems engineer at Boeing, where he developed a strong foundation in engineering principles and product development.
Dadi's expertise in materials science, economics, product development, and investment has positioned him as a seasoned investor and thought leader in venture capital. He enjoys providing strategic advice and mentorship to portfolio companies and startups, particularly in the areas of software, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and more.
