Thom Sinclair, a seasoned senior leader with extensive international experience, is committed to creating better development results. His expertise lies in digital learning, design thinking, and adaptive management skills. He has worked in various countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and more, and understands the importance of collaboration in tackling difficult challenges. Thom currently leads the strategy, implementation, and fundraising for Gateway, a private sector-focused digital learning initiative.
He holds a Master of Public Administration in International Public Service and Development from Rutgers University, a Master of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbus State University. Thom was also a part-time faculty member at George Washington University.
Thom's professional experience includes being a Senior Operations Officer at The World Bank's Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP), Senior Knowledge Management and Learning Advisor at USAID, and Senior Associate for Knowledge and Learning at The QED Group. He was also a Training Officer at USAID and a Peace Corps Volunteer. Additionally, Thom served as Project Manager for USAID and the Asian Development Bank at The Pragma Corporation.
