Garret Maher is a seasoned education professional with years of experience in various academic institutions and organizations. A PhD holder in Geography from the National University of Ireland, Galway, Maher is also a graduate of the University College Dublin where he earned his Master of Arts degree in International/Global Studies. Maher is passionate about education and has dedicated his career to it. He has held a variety of leadership roles in his career, including his current position as the Executive Director at The Global Undergraduate Awards. He was also the Director of Development at the same organization earlier in his career. Maher has an impressive record of helping educational institutions develop, grow and excel. Prior to joining The Global Undergraduate Awards, he worked as a Consultant for the Internationalisation of Higher Education at the British Council.
