Gordon Vermeer is a dedicated environmentalist, committed to promoting global natural resource stewardship with integrity and wisdom. He seeks to leverage his extensive expertise and experience in conservation finance, private equity investing, project finance, ecosystem services markets, and rural economic development, among other things, to direct financial tools, markets, and investment towards conservation and regeneration outcomes in forestry and agriculture. Gordon holds an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and he graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Economics and Math from Dartmouth College. He has previously served as an MBA Intern at both SilviaTerra and Proterra Investment Partners, a Consultant at DBL Partners, Assistant VP of Forestry and Agriculture at GMO, and an Analyst of Forestry and Agriculture at GMO. Additionally, Gordon is a former professional cross-country ski racer at the Craftsbury Green Racing Project (GRP). He prides himself on being a clear thinker, a strong communicator, and an effective team-builder.
