Behavioral Therapist

As a Behavorial Specialist I use my training of ABA and Discrete Trial to assess and relearn the children on life skills, on basic educational skills. I teach my students the essentials on sitting, waiting, washing hands, using the bathroom, asking for help and ,” I want…”. I use sign language to with these students and teach the basic sign language skills of ,” I want”, “ I need help,” “ Bathroom” and “All done”. I follow the IEP and what is necessary for the students to succeed in life and school.

Maintaining regular client database, selling merchandise to clientele, helping the store obtain the
Million Dollar Store Award (S.F.), opening and closing procedures, processing sales, arranging store
displays, ordering and inventory, coordinating wardrobe and accessories for store mannequins, and
using cut, colors, and current fashion trends to put together unique outfits to complement each clients'
figure, lifestyle, and personality.

The Help Group, Behavioral Specialist: Severe/Moderate; Extensive use of ABA and Discrete Trial method to assess and teach over 40 children life skills and basic
educational skills, Communicate with children via Sign Language, and teaching children Sign Language.

As a Para Professional I am trained to work with the students who are labeled; Severe/Moderate Autistic. I assist the Head educator with certain ABA methods. While using ABA methods on directing the students to the objective with in a classroom setting. I use Discrete trial Teaching methods as well as ABA talking methods to relay positive reinforcement to the student when I am  teaching centers in the classroom setting for the moderate/severe Autistic Students. My responsibilities within a classroom setting are to instruct with the usage of ABA and Discrete trial Teaching while helping   the head educator with any other classroom responsibilities. Along with my responsibilities I continue to take the District and State  offered certification training for Autism.

As the Assistant Youth Coordinator I assisted with composing the budget proposals for a summer program called Interlocken.
Represented the Neve Yosef Community Center by doing public speaking to the American sponsors. I worked with the low-income community of Neve Yosef by doing community out-reach programs. I taught and tutored English to the low-income children of the Neve Yosef community. I worked with the University students on projects for a summer program called Interlocken.  
I translated executive emails, phone conversation, ect... from Hebrew to English. I booked and arranged flight tickets, and other travel arrangements for the executive and staff at the community center. I also worked hand in hand with the United States embassy in making sure that clearance would be given
