Tom P. Ellis III, a graduate of Hillcrest High School and Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business, is an experienced business professional who has held various leadership roles in the insurance industry. With over 50 years of experience in insurance, Tom specializes in risk management, insurance, bonding, and employee benefits for commercial construction companies. He holds several professional designations, including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, Chartered Life Underwriter, CIC, and CRM. In 2010, he completed the Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist designation. Tom has also served in various leadership positions in different organizations, including President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas, Chairman of the Dallas Insurance Placement Board, and President of the Dallas Society of CPCU. Tom is an active member of several professional organizations, such as the Associated General Contractors, the American Subcontractors Association, Associated Builders and Contractors, the National Association of Surety Bond Producers, and the Independent Insurance Agents of America.
