Kim Bryant is a design-oriented software engineer with experience in various roles ranging from Graphic Design Intern to Senior Software Engineer. She studied Industrial Design, which instilled important skills such as the Iterative Design Cycle, project management, and design principles such as usability and craftsmanship. Kim's passion for learning and tinkering led her to teach herself web development, including HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. She values principles like progressive enhancement, material honesty, and usability when conceptualizing new websites or systems, and her development skills help her implement those design concepts as production-worthy code.

With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech, Kim held various positions at companies like Mailchimp, Cvent, Netbiscuits, IMC AG, and kb design (freelance). Currently, she is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Mailchimp, which she also worked as a Software Engineer III before. Additionally, she was a Senior UI Developer at Cvent and a Platform/Web Developer at Netbiscuits. Before that, she worked as a User Interface Designer at IMC AG, a freelance designer at kb design, a Design Intern at People of Resource, and a Graphic Design Intern at Lift Creative.
