Georgios Papaioannou is an accomplished visual effects artist with a strong engineering background, who has worked for top visual effects and animation companies in Europe and North America. He holds an Engineer's degree in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Steel Structures from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In pursuit of his passion for visual effects, Georgios also studied at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, where he achieved an impressive GPA of 3.67 out of 4.0.

Georgios has worked as a Houdini FX TD and Generalist for top firms like Glassworks, nineteentwenty, and Framestore. He has also excelled in roles as a Compositor and Lighting TD/Compositor for companies such as FrostFX, Worldwide FX, and IXOR Visual FX.

Some of the notable projects he has worked on include commercials for brands like Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW, as well as blockbuster movies like Guardians of the Galaxy, Harry Potter, and Pacific Rim.
