Mary Pat King is a certified association executive with over 20 years of experience working for national nonprofits and supporting state and local affiliates. Her career has been dedicated to causes that develop youth, engage families, schools, and communities. She has led the conceptual design and nationwide delivery of numerous youth and family programs that support student success and improve overall well-being. King studied Bachelor of Arts Degree, English Communications, with a minor in Political Science at Le Moyne College. She also studied Master of Science Degree, Public Relations at Syracuse University.

Throughout her career, King has held various leadership positions, such as Director of Education & Leadership Development at National PTA, Director of Programs & Partnerships at the National PTA, Director, National Youth Initiatives at American Diabetes Association, and Managing Director, Community Outreach & Program Implementation at American Diabetes Association. She has also worked as an Associate Director of Client Development at Vanguard Communications, the leading firm for public service campaigns. In April 2020, King became CEO of Girl Scouts of West Central Florida. She is also a Board Member of the Commission on the Status of Women at Hillsborough County.

King's expertise includes mission advancement, volunteer engagement, board relations, member recruitment, revenue development, and nonprofit effectiveness.
