Austin Arensberg
Austin Arensberg is a venture investor based in San Francisco with extensive experience in early stage startups. He currently serves as the Director of Okta Ventures, and has previously led Scrum Ventures US Investments with a portfolio of over 65 startups. With a career spanning over 9 years, Austin has also worked in venture capital, private equity, and corporate development both nationally and internationally. Moreover, he has worked as an operational management consultant at Samsung and started his professional journey as an environmental researcher.
Austin completed his Master of Business Administration at INSEAD after completing his Bachelor of Arts in political science and environmental studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder. During his studies, he published his research with the support of the National Science Foundation. He was also a 2016 Marshall Memorial Fellow and is presently on the Board of Trustees for the Princeton in Asia Fellowship Program.
Austin's professional journey has seen him work with several globally recognized organizations, including Samsung Electronics, Shell, PT&T, USAID, Nollen Group, and IUCN. His present role at Okta Ventures focuses on early-stage startups, and he has developed a keen eye for identifying the most promising startups from across the globe.
