Yaniv Shachar is a highly experienced engineering executive who has demonstrated his ability to develop web-scale market-leading software products in both start-ups and large organizations. Shachar has a strong educational background in computer science, having studied BSC at the Universitat Ben Gurion Ba-Negev.

His career spans several high-profile organizations. Shachar is presently serving as VP R&D at Verbit.ai. Previously, he served as Director of Research Development at NSO Group, R&D Manager at Micro Focus (formerly HP / Hewlett Packard Enterprise), Senior R&D Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Co-founder and CTO at Click&Goal, R&D Enablement Manager at HP, Automation Center of Excellence Manager at Mercury Interactive, and Developer at both Mercury Interactive and Amdocs.

Throughout his career, Shachar has been responsible for delivering successful on-premise and SaaS products leveraging the cloud. He is highly skilled in combining deep business understanding, technology, and managerial skills to deliver successful products that satisfy customers' needs. Furthermore, he has demonstrated expertise in web and mobile technologies, Agile and Scrum methodologies, and CI\CD capabilities. Shachar is highly experienced in building and ramping up global offshore groups while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
