NPower mobilizes the tech community and provides individuals, nonprofits and schools access and opportunity to build tech skills and achieve their potential.

Responsible for launching the inaugural class of students for the new TSC program site located in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Implements recruitment strategies such as attending career fairs, community networking events, and hosting informational sessions for the Technology Service Corps program.

Provides day-to-day administrative and operational support. 

Utilizes community outreach strategies to develop relationships with local organizations and to increase corporate engagement.

Interviews candidates for Technology Service Corps.

Records and analyzes student data using Salesforce database to track student progress throughout each program cycle. 

Manages all disciplinary actions for students including meetings for warnings, performance agreements, and suspensions.

NPower (nonprofit)

Administered developmental  testing, subject specific assessments, etc. for the purpose of assessing student competency levels and/or developing individual learning plans.

Adapted classroom work for the purpose of providing students with instructional materials that address individualized learning plans within established lesson plans.

Advised parents and/or legal guardians of student progress for the purpose of communicating expectations; student's achievements; developing methods for improvement and/or reinforcing classroom goals in the home environment.

Assessed student progress towards objectives, expectations, and/or goals for the purpose of providing feedback to students, parents and administration.

Maintained manual and electronic documents, files and records for the purpose of providing written reference; and/or meeting mandated requirements.

Science Teacher

Taught summer program in Mississippi under the supervision of a faculty of experienced teachers.

Creating unit instructional plans based on state curriculum standards.

Attending professional development activities such as webinars, workshops, self directed independent learning experiences, as well as worked with content specific learning teams.

Utilizing teaching methods and tools to create and maintain a culture of achievement in the classroom

Creating and executing lesson plans that are catered to students at all performance levels and across grade levels.
