Maine has a wealth of experience in the field of higher education, having studied Higher Education Administration at Georgia Southern University and Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at the University of Georgia.

Prior to her current role at the University of North Georgia, Maine served as Associate Vice President of University Relations, Director of University Relations, and Program Blade Manager. Maine has also held positions as Public Relations Director at the Riverside Military Academy and Public Relations Manager at Morton Vardeman & Carlson.
