- During my 8 years at Blackstone, the private equity segment AUM increased approx. five fold to $50
billion, across multiple funds, 100+ legal entities and almost 2,000 investors. I was actively involved with
the IPO of Blackstone in 2007
- Built the valuation team and related process. Built a technology platform to collect data directly from portfolio companies 
- Worked with marketing and investor relations on fund raising, preparation of PPMs and marketing decks, preparation of the annual LP meeting presentations, quarterly portfolio updates, value creation analysis, etc.
- Provided oversight for transaction support, deal structuring, fund accounting, Limited Partner reporting, tax compliance, internal controls and day to day operations of the private equity segment
- Built customized software for complex waterfall calculations, capital calls, distributions, management fees, quarterly liquidation analysis of carried interest, capital account statements for LPs, etc.

Provided consulting services for process improvement and re-engineering to various alternative asset managers. Primary client was The Blackstone Group.

Helped implement fund accounting and corporate actions applications with a focus on business use case development and testing. Primary clients were Hansabank (Estonia) and Merrill Lynch (NY)
