Unknown-ID aims to break the mould of glossing over hidden gems because you can’t connect an artist you haven’t had any exposure to with a sound you know and gravitate towards. By removing the ‘who’ Unknown-ID creates a level playing field, whereby you are only influenced via your ears. It also serves as a platform to offer equal opportunity to up and coming artists with limitless talent. 

Unknown-ID’s setup is structured in the same way as a traditional label format, with the only difference being that the artists remain entirely anonymous in the process. It encourages boundary-pushing creativity and things that are out of the norm. With no preconceptions attached to an artist's acoustic signature, the chains are completely removed and the weird and wonderful can be truly celebrated. This encourages artists to not feel a need to fit into a box or produce anything other than their truest self. 

Never before has there been a more ‘purist’ platform, in which the hysteria of not knowing drives the appreciation of the subject matter. As the world moves forward into uncharted waters after a long period of stagnation, Unknown-ID is committed to pushing its way to the fore whilst breaking down consumer habits, favouritism and limitations for artists in one fell swoop.
