Julie Pilitsis

Julie Pilitsis is an accomplished neurosurgeon with a diverse educational background.

She completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Medicine at Albany Medical College and further pursued her education through a Residency in Neurosurgery at Wayne State University.

Dr. Pilitsis also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physiology from Wayne State University.

Additionally, she obtained specialized training by studying Fellowship in Functional Neurosurgery at Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center.

Currently, Julie Pilitsis serves as a Professor at Albany Medical College, leveraging her expertise and experience to educate future medical professionals in the field of neurosurgery.

Previously, she held the position of Assistant Professor at UMass Medical School, further contributing to her vast experience in academia and medical research.
