Clarita Santos has an extensive background in community health initiatives and program funding. She received her Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of Charleston. Santos has held various positions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas, with a strong focus on community health initiatives, including her role as the Executive Director of Corporate and Civic Partnerships in the Office of the President and CEO. Prior to this, Santos worked at United Way of Metropolitan Chicago as the Director of Program Funding, where she managed millions of dollars in program funding. She is also experienced in community outreach, having previously worked as the Community Liaison at Cook County State's Attorney and as the Midwest Region Program Coordinator at the Asian Health Coalition of Illinois. Santos has a passion for serving underserved communities, and this is evident in her work as the Executive Director at Asian American AIDS Services.
