I work as part of a collaborative team in creating, deploying and measuring internal communications activity and campaigns to our internal channels, helping our 8,500 colleagues identify with the organisation’s ambitions and achievements, and feel informed, engaged and better equipped to do their jobs.•	Responsible for producing high quality and high impact written and video content for the intranet, leadership emails, twice-weekly newsletter, screensavers, desktop alerts and all-staff briefings, to communicate key organisational messages and to share the work of the organisation.•	Work collaboratively with, and act as advisor to senior colleagues in HR/OD, IT, external corporate communications and staff diversity networks on how best to communicate their messages, new initiatives and changes to ways of working.•	Incident response and crisis communication: COVID-19, EU Exit preparations.•	Nurtured working relationships with regional communications colleagues to build a network of communicators to drive employee engagement and to share central messages in regional channels.•	Capture and analyse metrics to measure trends and inform planning and improvement of channels, reporting to senior communications leaders on effectiveness of communications strategies based on channel measurement, and advising on ways to increase impact.•	Currently leading the internal communications for a culture change programme, liaising with HR Directors and HR implementation group to gain consensus on messaging, collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to deliver the communications for the project, and regularly reporting on communications activity.•	In June and July 2020 I led on the internal communications for the organisation’s birthday celebrations, developing a strategic multi-channel internal communications plan, getting consensus with internal stakeholders on messaging, building relationships with project leaders and deploying, measuring and reporting activity.

Responsible for the production, coordination and delivery of communications at this subsidiary of the Close Brothers Group. •	Developed internal campaigns to support:      o	the company strategy,       o	the business-wide transformation programme, and       o	campaigns for functional departments (eg. HR and IT).•	Sole lead on the development and delivery of the internal communications plan, aligning it to the company’s strategy, communicating to approximately 500 employees (with 10% field-based). •	Managed the internal communications channels (intranet/enterprise social media, emails, newsletters, town hall events, posters, desk drops), creating content and managing scheduling, occasionally delegating some of the delivery.•	Main internal communications contact for HR, Operations and Sales: identifying communications needs, advising on best practice, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and feeding their requirements into the company’s internal communications plan.•	Measured internal communications activity, and provided analysis and advice to internal stakeholders.•	Coached a junior member of the team on best practice and how best to engage colleagues with creative and impactful communications.•	Liaison with and management of external providers for the supply of video, image, design and written assets. •	Managed the company’s presence on our group-wide enterprise social media, Jive, developing pipelines of content and driving campaigns to increase uptake of Jive as the new intranet.•	Tone of voice ambassador, internal brand advisor and managing the tone of voice document and glossary of terms.•	Wrote content for external and internal activity including news stories, press releases, feature articles, campaign content, social media and emails to customers and employees.
