For over seven years, as Special Events Director for Maxim Magazine, Dan Parente helped to create what would become “The Maxim Party.” From Maxim’s Super Bowl Parties to the Maxim Hot 100 Parties as well as hundreds of events along the way, Dan’s approach to special events has been unrivaled.

In 2005, Dan left Maxim and launched Bookem Danno Productions. Since its inception, Bookem Danno has continued to produce high profile events over 16 years later including Mont Blanc’s 100th Anniversary, super bowl parties for Rolling Stone and Coors Light, the Icons & Idols parties for In Touch Weekly, the 20th Anniversary of the OUT 100 for OUT Magazine, events for the DailyMail, the New York City Drone Film Festival, the Fast Company Innovation Festival, video content projects for TED, the CLIO Awards and many more.

Specializing in live event production and talent booking, Bookem Danno Productions works with the most innovative brands, most captivating personalities and most creative collaborators to produce truly one-of-a-kind event experiences that continue to raise the bar.

In 2020, Bookem Danno won the Bizbash Event & Style Award for the best Event Gala design of the last decade for the CLIO 60th Anniversary Celebration. Dan has grown Bookem Danno by constantly evolving their services to meet the needs of their clients and the ever changing event landscape.

Created the Maxim "event" and "party" brand by developing and producing up to 200 events per year including the Maxim Hot 100, Maxim Music and Maxim Super Bowl parties, national multi-market tours with Coors Light and Bud Light, movie premiere collaboration on titles such as X-Men, Coyote Ugly and The Cooler.
