Guarina Lopez is an accomplished education professional who has gained valuable experience in project management, content development, marketing, research, and recruitment. Her specialty lies in equal access to education and social mobility for low-income and minority students, and she has worked tirelessly towards ensuring that all students have an equal opportunity to succeed. With over 20 years of experience in fine photography collections, archiving, collections management, database archiving, teaching, and research, she brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to any organization she works with.

Guarina holds a Certificate of Spanish Translation from the Universidad de Barcelona and has studied Liberal Studies, Art History, Film, French, Italian, and Spanish at City College of San Francisco. She has also completed 24 credits of a Masters in Global Environmental Policy and Law at the American University School of International Service.

Over the years, Guarina has held various roles, including serving as a Program Coordinator for the Program on Law and Government at American University Washington College of Law, Coordinator for the Program on International and Comparative Environmental Law at the same institution, Photo Archivist-Editor, and Publications Assistant at Smithsonian Institute- The National Museum of the American Indian, and International education specialist at the Embassy of France in the United States.

As an education professional and photographer, Guarina has developed a unique skill set that blends creative and analytical thinking, making her an effective communicator with excellent program evaluation, research, and database management abilities. She is also proficient in French and Spanish and has experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Lightroom, SPSS, Stata, and the Google platform.
