We help teachers and school staff (such as office professionals and school nurses), who want to be able to connect and communicate with Spanish-speaking students and families, but who get frustrated by the language barrier. We help them gain the practical day-to-day language skills so they can start communicating effectively, starting on Day 1, and increase their confidence and skill-set every lesson thereafter. We offer in-person group lessons, online classes, and individualized lessons depending on what our clients desire.We break down the fears that make speaking to native Spanish-speakers intimidating, practice in fun environments, and run challenges to motivate Spanish learners to keep making progress even between lessons.

I serve as the main point of contact with KIPP's five St. Louis campuses for all our foreign-born families, from recruitment and enrollment, through the daily needs of their school experience.I coordinate educational and holistic services for our foreign-born families and bilingual scholars, which include: - English language instruction to all ELL students K-12- coordination of foreign language recruitment and enrollment support- connection to immigration advocacy and educational resources- the creation of welcoming and accessible school environments- building a strong sense of community among those who have come to our team and family from other countriesOur families come from many of parts of the world, and speak Spanish, Arabic, and Filipino.
