Alexxis Cardenas is an accomplished and creative professional with a passion for helping brands connect and engage with people to create meaningful relationships and unique experiences. Her expertise in digital content creation, integrated communications strategy, crisis communications and culture-building programs has resulted in award-winning campaigns for culture building, brand-awareness initiatives, product launches, and events. Alexxis graduated from California State University-Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Public Relations. She also studied Social Sciences at Rio Hondo College.

Alexxis is currently serving as the Internal Communications Digital Content Manager at GitHub. Before working at GitHub, she was a World Traveler at Self-Employed and a Sr. Corporate Communications Specialist and Corporate Communications Specialist at Taco Bell.
