Kimberly Cockerham
Dr. Kimberly Cockerham, MD, FACS, is a highly accomplished ophthalmologist with a focus on wound healing and fibrosis in ophthalmology, orbital disease, facial plastics, and neuro-ophthalmology.
She has served as the Chief of Oculoplastics and Orbital Disease at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and UCSF, and currently holds the position of Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University.
With over two decades of experience, Dr. Cockerham has published extensively, authored books, and serves as a reviewer for various medical journals in print and online.
Her expertise extends to consulting and serving on the medical advisory board for pharmaceutical companies, providing tele-eye services, running fellowships, and bridging the gap between ophthalmology, emergency medicine, and hospitalists.
Dr. Cockerham's research interests focus on inflammation, fibrosis, ocular cancers, and drug delivery platforms for treating eye conditions, including retinoblastoma.
