Nicolas de Toledo is a Swiss national with extensive experience in business development and cross-cultural communication, with a particular focus on China. Over the past 10 years, he has founded and advised several successful companies, including Mosaiq SA, Integrate Chinese Life ltd, and AETEA ltd. He has also played a significant role in promoting and fostering international exchanges with China through various initiatives, such as business learning expeditions, innovation match-making, and investments for companies and governments.

Nicolas is a highly educated individual, having studied Swiss Maturité, Physics and Maths at Collège Calvin, International Business, Business Chinese Language, and Chinese Culture at 东华大学, Political Sciences, East Asian Studies & Economics at McGill University, and completed post-graduate studies in Business Chinese Language at 华东师范大学, Chinese Language at 北京语言大学, and 清华大学. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IMD Business School.

As a core member of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, Nicolas launched IMPROVE, which is a seven-day project acceleration program aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs in developing countries. He has also created a fund of yearly scholarships for Swiss talents to go to China for educational and professional stays (ICL CUP) and a platform that has helped hundreds of young professionals study and work in China (ICL & Internships China).

At present, Nicolas is a partner at AYO Innovation Consulting, where he focuses on helping businesses in Europe accelerate their growth and adapt to new markets. He is also involved part-time with Mosaiq SA, where he provides strategic advice and support.
