In oil and gas, specialising in static modelling, to HCIP, mapping/depth-conversion etc. Expert, using Zmap and CPS, Petrosys and some Petrel, in Equity Determination / Unitisation and associated volumetric studies, for operator, either contesting party, as well as on behalf of the "Expert", especially using custom written macros.I have access to industry standard mapping software.Developing specialist depth conversion techniques to compensate for the "pull-up" velocity effects of deep sea canyons.Also experienced in the hands-on IT side of the oil industry, with hardware/software support, in windows, linux and unix, with additional data management as necessary.Clients include Shell, BP, Enterprise Oil, Chevron-Texaco, Perenco, Tullow, Antrim, Petroceltic, Maersk, as well as many smaller companies, and other geoscience consultancies.Areas of recent experience include:  North Sea, Ghana, Nigeria, Mauritania, Gulf of Mexico, Ukraine, Italy (fractured carbonates)Outside of the oil industry I have independantly (and part sponsored) made a geological & geotechnical model of the London Basin, using BGS borehole data, BGS map data, OS elevations and privately owned site investigation geotechnical data, for the prediction of geotechnical profiles at new construction sites.I am also experience in converting vintage paper maps, and georeferencing them for inclusion in projects, using a variety of pavkages, wspecially Memory Map.
