Sydney-based Dean Dorrell is a prominent venture capitalist and founder of Carthona Capital. With a degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham, he began his career as a yen bond trader at Nomura International and then held major roles in BNP Paribas and Greenwich Natwest. After gaining extensive experience, he became the CEO of RBG Capital Partners and later founded M.H. Carnegie & Co., where he served as Managing Director.
Dean has an impressive portfolio, spanning multiple industries, as he has served as a director or investor for different companies, including deferit, Replica Studios, Roubler, Ensu, agerris, InDebted, Particular Audience, Pulsa, Cherre, Valiant Finance, Wildcard, Daedalean AI, Medius Health, Ouster, PARts Australia, Paratus Clinical Pty Ltd, Zero Latency PTY LTD, Credible, and Sparesbox.
