Illai Gescheit
Illai Gescheit is a seasoned entrepreneur, product builder, and startup advisor. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Tel Aviv University and studied Global Executive Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. Illai has worked with many startups, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists, mentoring and advising them on product development, growth hacking, marketing, UX/UI, and business strategy. He has also developed a novel design and ideation methodology called Patent Thinking.
Previously, Illai served as the CEO of Mobifile, and as the Lead of Startup Programs and Products at Amazon Web Services in EMEA. He has also worked as an innovation manager at Supergum, a consultant at Neuroderm, and a business development associate at Medingo. Additionally, Illai is an accomplished street athlete and a fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce.
Currently, Illai is a Partner at Siemens Energy Ventures and serves as a mentor at Smart Mobility & Future Cities at Techstars and Google for Startups Climate Program. He is also the founding partner of Zerofirst Ventures and an advisory council member at GLG. Illai has been a guest lecturer at Product School, a startup judge & mentor at MassChallenge, and a mentor at Singularity University.
