Julie McGowan is an experienced communications professional, with a background in journalism and public relations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Oklahoma Baptist University, and has held several high-profile roles, including AVP of Communications at the International Mission Board (IMB). Prior to this, she served as the Public Relations Director, Director of Editorial, and Assistant Director of Editorial at IMB, as well as the News & Media Relations Director at Oklahoma Baptist University, Communications Specialist as a freelance writer and editor and Assistant Editor and Staff Writer at IMB. Julie's expertise lies in public relations, communications strategy, editorial planning, media relations, and content creation. She has a passion for missions and has helped to raise the profile of some of the world's largest faith-based organizations.
