Chris Jones is a technology leader with a diverse background in creating, designing, and building innovative solutions to deliver real value to users, shareholders, and customers. Mr. Jones holds an Incomplete Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with High Honors from the University of California, Berkeley in EECS.
Throughout his career, Mr. Jones has been involved in a myriad of roles; he's been Founder & CEO of Wotan, Founder & CTO of Silk labs, and Head of Software at Companion Labs. He has also held leadership roles at Agnetix and Sweat Equity Ventures, where he currently serves as Principal. In his various roles, he has facilitated building and scaling projects across a range of industries, from startups to established tech giants, including Mozilla and Databricks.
Mr. Jones's background includes significant contributions to emerging platforms, such as his role as creator and chief architect of Firefox OS at Mozilla, for which he co-authored the Hacking Web Apps textbook. As a Research Assistant and Member of Technical Staff at Riverbed Technology, he played an integral part in advancing network performance and optimization.
Throughout his career, Mr. Jones has demonstrated his ability to solve complex problems while keeping the end customer in mind. Though he's worked in various roles, one thing remains consistent - he's always been focused on delivering value to the end-users by creating innovative, scalable, and viable products.
