Amelia Furlong

Amelia Furlong is a dedicated writer, reproductive rights advocate, and social justice enthusiast with a passion for reproductive health care and sexual health education.

Her educational background includes a Master of Arts (MA) in Creative Writing from the National University of Ireland, Galway, a Creative Writing program at the Tin House Summer Workshop, and a Bachelor's degree in English and American Literatures, Creative Writing, Magna Cum Laude from Middlebury College.

With a diverse work history, Amelia has served in various roles such as Academic Tutor at National University of Ireland, Galway, Regional Organizer, SCOTUS Organizer, and Organizing Fellow in California with NARAL Pro-Choice America, and as a Talkline Counselor at Exhale.

Furthermore, she has been involved as a CORE Board Member and Volunteer at Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands, as well as holding positions at Aslan Brewing Co., Hillary for America, HS2, California Shakespeare Theater, Magnolia Brewing Company, LLC, and Addison County Council Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.
