With a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the Universidade de Brasília and specialist training in Executive Data Science at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Vargas has the knowledge and expertise necessary to lead Youper.

Before founding Youper, Vargas held several key positions in the healthcare industry. He served as the CEO of Health Bank (Banco de Saúde), a psychiatrist at Liva Saude, and a Psychiatry Resident at Hospital de Base do Distrito Federal. Throughout his career, Vargas has remained committed to improving mental health services and advancing technology's role in patient care.
