Christopher Ballard is a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer with a passion for typography and the wilderness. Having completed his studies in Journalism, Creative Writing, and English at State University of New York College at Oswego, and his MA in Magazine, Newspaper & Online Journalism at Syracuse University, Christopher has a solid foundation in both design and writing.

Christopher Ballard has been making waves in his field, having previously held positions like Senior UX Designer at Mapbox, Senior Product Designer at The Washington Post, and Tablet Designer at AZ Magazine. Currently, Christopher is a Senior Product Designer at The Atlantic, where he continues to excel and bring his unique skills and creativity to the table.

In addition to his design work, Christopher has also previously worked as a reporting intern at Utica Observer-Dispatch, Lead Producer for Entertainment at The NewsHouse, Sports intern at Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin, and Editor-in-Chief at The Oswegonian. This diverse experience has given him a well-rounded perspective on the media and how to effectively communicate through design and writing.

Christopher's interests are broad, ranging from his love of typography and the wilderness, to coffee shops with his dog, the perfect burger, and attending local metal shows. With his skills and interests, Christopher Ballard is a creative force to be reckoned with in the design world.
