Elena Avesani is a highly accomplished professional who has established herself as a leading voice in the field of corporate sustainability and environmental responsibility. She has been instrumental in driving Oracle's ESG programs and developing sustainability-enabling cloud solutions, which have led to Oracle being ranked #10 in the U.S. and #17 worldwide by Newsweek's 2016 Green rankings. Elena is passionate about using exponential technologies and circular economy models to address global challenges and is dedicated to pioneering solutions to drive positive change in the world.

With a Master's degree in International and Public Affairs from Columbia University, Elena has received extensive training and education in management, economics, and industrial engineering from Politecnico di Milano. She has also completed an Executive Program in Exponential Technologies at Singularity University.

Elena's professional journey has been nothing short of remarkable. She began her career as a Senior Applications Consultant at Oracle and went on to hold several key positions such as Principal Product Manager- eCommerce Development, Principal Strategy Manager- Sustainability, and Global Sustainability Lead before becoming the Global Sustainability Director at Oracle. She has been instrumental in Oracle being listed in the CDP Climate A-List since 2015 and recognized as Outperformer by Sustainalytics in 2017 and 2018.
