Neil Hutchison

Neil Hutchison is an accomplished Android software engineer with a passion for community-building in the tech world. He is the organizer and host of Londroid, the London Android meetup where he oversees monthly events including talks, workshops, tutorials and socials. Neil has shared his expertise in In-App Billing for Android at GDG Liverpool and the Big Android BBQ Europe, and was invited to speak at the Global GDG Leaders Summit in Mountain View, California. Neil has also hosted the Mobile-focused speaker track at Devfest London from 2017-2019.

Neil’s educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of St. Andrews. He is currently a Senior Android Software Engineer at Toyota Connected Europe, and has previously worked as an Android Software Engineer at Novoda, an Associate Software Developer at TradeRisks, and a Context Aware Systems - Research Internship at the University of St Andrews. Neil has also worked as a Shop Assistant & Computer Technician at East Neuk Technology.
