• Permanent member of the Executive Management Board of Clondalkin. Clondalkin is a Packaging group with an approximate turnover of € 900 million, 46 production sites predominantly in Europe and North America and employs c. 4500 people.
• Member of the Board of Directors of Clondalkin Group Investments BV and various other Board Memberships throughout the Group.
• Heading all the financial functions (7 direct reports) including Accounting & Reporting, Treasury & Asset management, Tax: Planning and compliance, Risk management and Internal Audit and Investor Relations.
• Functional report of all CFOs and Financial Controllers of the operating companies of the Group.
• Trustee of Pension funds in the Netherlands and Switzerland.
• Assuming responsibility over IT.

Clondalkin Group

Responsibilities:  
• Permanent member of the Executive Management Committee of Swissport Group reporting to the President and CEO. Member of the Board of Directors of up to 18 Swissport Companies of which 6 acting as Chairman.
• Fully responsible for the results of the Cargo Division with an approximate turnover of € 300 million at 71 airport operations in 24 countries worldwide covering 5 continents.
• Management reporting structure of 5 Regional Senior Vice Presidents and 3 Functional Vice President reports (sales, finance, operations) altogether responsible for a total staff of c. 4.500 employees worldwide.
• Day to day management of operations with the objective to increase profitability and particular emphasis of turning around several underperforming operations.
• Ultimate responsibility of global key accounts and global frame agreements of leading airlines, the biggest of which accounts for up to 20% of total revenues.
• Expansion of SPI network through the development of new sites and significant expansion of existing operations.
• Enhancement of current operations through reinforcement of functions such as security, quality management and IT innovation.

Swissport

Executive Vice President Global Cargo

Responsibilities:
• Member of the Corporate Finance Team reporting directly to the Group CFO, head of the department (4 FTE’s) responsible for Management Reporting, Business Analysis, Budgeting, Financial Controls and Investment Analysis. Swissport specializes in Ground Handling Services for the Aviation Industry with an approximate turnover of € 1 billion, 65 reporting units spread over 30 countries on 5 continents and employs c. 27.000 people.
• Member of the Board of Directors of up to 6 Swissport Companies and Chairman of the Board of one.
• Dedicated Controller for the Cargo Division, leading three Divisional Controllers and ultimately responsible for the relationship with the field organization and the CFOs and providing support to the Executive Management.
• Financial analysis of M&A Projects, new business developments, start-ups, conducting Financial Due Diligence and supporting the Business Development department in preparing deal structures participating in more than 20 projects during this period.

Vice President - Group Controlling & Investment Analysis

Responsibilities and Special Projects: 
• Head of the Controlling Department (5 direct reports) responsible for: Centralization of the Controlling Department at Head Office level and set-up of the new team, processes and functional reporting structure from and to the field.
• Part of the management team holding equity of the company that, in direct report to the Group CFO, prepared and developed Candover’s dual exit strategy which resulted in the trade sale of Swissport to Ferrovial.  Co-responsible for the business plan, equity story, information memorandum and Due Diligence preparation as well as one of the main direct contact points for the buyers during the process.

Vice President & Group Controller

Responsibilities and Special Projects:  
• Management Reporting to the General Executive Management of Swissport International.
• Co-responsible for the integration of the Ground Handling and Cargo companies in Europe during the interim period post-acquisition of Cargo Service Center Holding BV, with main emphasis on Financial Control and Synergy identification and implementation plans.

Vice President Finance & Controlling Europe

Responsibilities:  
• Permanent member of the Executive Management Committee of the Group reporting to the CEO.
• Heading all the finance functions (6 direct reports) including Treasury, Management Reporting, Accounting, preparation of the Annual Report and shareholder reporting (D Logistics) for the Group that reached a turnover of   € 150 million.
• Line report of all CFOs of the companies of the Group and the Corporate Finance team.

Cargo Service Center Holding BV

Responsibilities and Special Projects:  
• Participating and then leading the Corporate Controlling Team (6 FTE’s) responsible for the monthly reporting cycle, budgeting and planning.
• Leading the project to set up and implement the MIS of the company.
• Active member of the transaction team that resulted in the acquisition of CSC by D Logistics from KLM, responsible for preparing the finance content of the information memorandum.

Corporate Controller

Responsibilities and Special Projects:  
• Monthly management reporting.
• Responsible for budget planning and planning of “New cargo terminal” in Amsterdam.

Cargo Service Center Nederland BV

Controller

• Preparing and obtaining certification according to ISO 900 quality standards for several small sized Dutch companies.
