Shivani Siroya, the CEO and Founder of Tala, is a Columbia University-educated financial inclusion expert. A former Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum, Shivani has a passion for all things micro and financial identity. She has worked in the financial industry for over a decade, holding various positions at companies such as Health Net, Citi, PwC, and UBS. Shivani holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Government from Wesleyan University and several Master's degrees in Public Health, with a focus on economics. She studied at the United Nations International School before starting her professional career at the United Nations Population Fund. Shivani is also a TED Fellow and a vocal advocate for data privacy and financial inclusion.
