Lisel Welden is an accomplished strategic marketing professional with over 17 years of experience in building deep connections between consumers and brands. Her expertise spans across various areas such as channel marketing, creative development, content marketing, product integrations, and social media marketing campaigns. She holds a BA degree in Art History and pre-med from Williams College and an MBA in marketing and general management from Duke University.
Throughout her career, Lisel has worked for well-known companies such as Nike, Bleacher Report, Stitch Fix, and Lyft. Her leadership roles have allowed her to implement process improvements, redefine budgeting for marketing teams, and develop strategic frameworks, contributing to each organization's long-term success. Lisel is also invested in hiring and nurturing talent and has served on the Board of Directors of Women on Boards Project and as a Founding Member of Chief, to name a few.
One of Lisel's proudest achievements was her role in Nike's Black History Month activation, where she led a cross-category program uniting the Jordan, Converse, and Nike brands in the production and promotion of inspirational products and the development of the Ever Higher Fund, which is now part of Nike's "Equality" campaign.
