Scott Hamilton

Scott Hamilton, founder of Hex Technology, is an expert in bolting practices for industrial plants and refineries. After noticing that bolted joints were responsible for 90% of leaks, Hamilton decided to offer better solutions for leak prevention. Hex Technology provides a range of services, including training, consulting, procedure writing, and research and development for the energy industry. Their clients include major and supermajor companies in upstream, midstream, and downstream. Hamilton's expertise in bolting practices comes from his experience conducting research, working with industry organizations such as ASME, and training crews around the world. Hamilton holds a BS in Communications from The University of New Mexico and previously served as the Director of Technical Services at Alltite, Inc.
