Clare Firth is a strategist, design-thinker, problem solver, and entrepreneur based in San Francisco. She earned her MBA in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts after cutting her teeth in the global advertising industry as a brand and communications strategist in Sydney and Amsterdam. With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, Clare has developed a ‘collaborate or die’ kind of attitude, leading strategy development for tiny start-ups and some of the world’s biggest clients, across industries and markets. Clare is most excited by insight and strategic foresight-driven design and innovation, specifically through human-centred design thinking methodologies. She has consulted as a freelance design strategist, working with teams in both non-profit and for-profit industries on strategic positioning, complex service design, and business model innovation projects. Outside of her consultancy work, Clare founded the Design Strategy Entrepreneurs Collective to encourage and support early stage entrepreneurs in their ventures.
