Michael Young is a Research Psychologist with a plethora of experience in program evaluation, military training, stress/resilience, human factors psychology, cognitive psychology, experimental design, statistical analysis, statistical software, technical writing, research presentation, teaching, project management, computer programming, complex skill teaching, foreign language instruction, behavior research, and qualitative and quantitative research. He has a B.S in Biopsychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Michigan and a M.A and Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Michael has worked as a Research Psychologist at the US Navy as well as serving as the Principal Investigator for the Warfighter Performance Department and the Health & Behavioral Science Department. He was also a Human Factors Scientist at Exponent Failure Analysis Associates and a guest lecturer, research assistant, and teaching assistant at different universities. Additionally, he has experience in standards and product evaluation, consumer product safety analysis, regulations for medical devices, medicine, and supplements, child safety, accident investigation, risk identification, and anthropometry.
