Chris Cummins is an experienced finance executive with over 30 years of experience in the aerospace and investment banking industries, focusing on the commercialization of outer space.

Throughout his career, Chris has been involved in various roles, from studying ways to finance activities beyond commercial satellites to working for NASA, the Commerce Department, and consulting for space and aviation companies, with a keen eye for sustainable space businesses.

In the banking sector, Chris excelled as a structured product specialist, utilizing institutional capabilities alongside technical innovations to deliver client solutions while effectively managing financial, trading, credit, operational, funding, and regulatory risks.

His specialties include small company finance, proposal management, strategic planning, trading, hedging, risk management, and product development of hybrid fund derivative products.

Chris holds educational qualifications such as an MS in Financial Engineering from NYU Stern School of Business, an MBA in Production Finance from Yale School of Management, and a BS in Physics and Government from Cornell University.

Currently, Chris holds the position of Chief of Products, Pricing, and Contracts at NanoRacks LLC, having previously served as the COO/CFO at the same company. Prior to NanoRacks, he worked as a Director at Citigroup and Citigroup Alternative Investments, and as a Principal at Cummins Consulting. He also contributed his expertise as an Aerospace Technologist at NASA.
