Mr. Whitson holds various degrees and has studied in some of the world's most prestigious universities and institutions, including Brown University, École Nationale Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques, Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès, and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Mr. Whitson has held numerous leadership positions, including General Manager of Scotts® ProVista™ turfgrass and Roundup® consumer businesses, General Manager of Scotts® Golf, Sport & Landscape division, and General Manager of Biotech & Director of Lawns Innovation. He has also served on the board of several organizations, including Archer Career and Seamless Control LLC.
